This policy covers cancelling an order. If the goods have already reached you and you want to send them back, see our Refund Policy.

1. Cancelling before your order ships

You may cancel any order, for any reason, at no charge at all, up to the moment it is handed to our delivery partner. Message us on WhatsApp on 079 615 7182 or email hello@scentsbymfundo.co.za with your order number.

We confirm the cancellation in writing and refund you in full — the goods and the delivery you paid — within five working days, to the payment method you used.

2. Cancelling after your order has shipped

Once a parcel is with Paxi, Pudo or the courier we cannot recall it. Let it be delivered, then use the seven-day cooling-off right in our Refund Policy to send it back. In that case the delivery charge already paid is not refunded and the return courier is for your account.

3. Your seven-day cooling-off right

Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act allows you to cancel an online purchase within seven days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason and without penalty, and to be refunded within 30 days. You return the goods at your own cost. The hygiene exclusions in our Refund Policy apply to items whose seal has been broken.

4. If we cancel your order

Occasionally we have to cancel — an item sells out between your order and our packing table, a price was published in error, or a payment cannot be verified. If that happens we contact you first and offer a replacement item or a full refund, whichever you prefer. A refund in this situation is paid within five working days and includes the delivery charge.

5. Orders paid by EFT

An EFT order is held for three working days. If the payment has not reflected by then the order is cancelled automatically and the stock released. Nothing is owed by you, and if a late payment arrives afterwards we either reinstate the order or refund the payment in full — your choice.

6. Subscriptions and recurring payments

We do not sell subscriptions and we do not store payment details or bill anyone on a recurring basis. Every purchase is a single, once-off transaction that you authorise at the time.

7. How to reach us to cancel

WhatsApp or call 079 615 7182, or email hello@scentsbymfundo.co.za, quoting your order number. Messages sent outside trading hours are picked up on the next working morning, and a cancellation is treated as made at the time you sent it, not the time we read it.
